Triunfadora en los Grammys 08

La cantante y compositora británica de soul y jazz Amy Winehouse de 24 años obtuvo el pasado 10 de febrero 5 Grammys. Se quedó con los premios mas deseados; mejor grabación, mejor canción del año por su exitosa canción Rehab, mejor artista novel, mejor trabajo pop vocal solista femenino y mejor álbum pop vocal por Back to Black.

Winehouse que canta "Me quisieron llevar a rehabilitación y dije no, no, no" en el tema Rehab no pudo acudir a la entrega de premios en Los Ángeles debido a que tiene prohibida la entrada en Estados Unidos. Actualmente la artista se encuentra en tratamiento de desintoxicación de alcohol y drogas.

La mezcla de soul y jazz de Winehouse la convirtieron en una importante estrella el año pasado. Su segundo álbum, Back to Black, fue el más vendido del 2007 en Gran Bretaña, y alcanzó el sexto puesto en los rankings de ventas de Estados Unidos.
